With the Barista milk thermometer you can easily monitor the temperature of the milk during frothing. Why is the temperature so important? The milk should not be heated above 70°C, as from this temperature its complex protein structures are destroyed and the milk foam therefore collapses more quickly. This not only looks unattractive, but can also have a negative impact on taste.

This thermometer is a great tool for framing lovers to heat milk at the optimum temperature and produce stable, fine-pored foam for refining coffee specialities. Coffee latte, cappuccino, coffee with milk and all your favourite hot drinks can now only be enjoyed with perfect milk foam!

This thermometer is also well suited for checking the temperature of brewing water for the preparation of filter coffee. Our recommendation is to brew at 90°C water temperature instead of 100°C.

As usual with thermometers of this type, the cover glass of the temperature scale is not watertight. Therefore please do not put them in the dishwasher, but simply clean them with a damp cloth.
