Good coffee beans alone do not make a good espresso.
If you hold your sieve support directly under the grinder, there is usually a pointed pile of ground coffee in the sieve after the grinding process. If you then make the mistake of roping the coffee grounds directly, you get a coffee puck that is much denser in the middle.
As the water seeks the path of least resistance during the brewing process, less water will run through the more compressed centre of the coffee pucks and the valuable aromas there will be insufficiently released from the coffee grounds.
With our distributor “Speciale TRE” you can distribute the ground coffee directly after grinding, even into the edge areas of the sieve, so that the coffee puck has the same density and the extraction succeeds perfectly.
The working depth of the distributor can be easily adjusted and fixed by hand from 5 to 13 mm. Instructions are included with the distributor.
Place the distributor on the filled sieve and rotate clockwise 3-4 times briskly. Then simply rope!
