Good coffee beans alone do not make a good espresso. If you hold your sieve support directly under the grinder, there is usually a pointed pile of ground coffee in the sieve after the grinding process. If you then make the mistake of tamping the coffee grounds directly, a coffee puck is created which is much denser in the middle.

As the water seeks the path of least resistance during the brewing process, less water runs through the more compressed centre of the coffee puck. The result: the valuable aromas are hardly released from the coffee grounds.

With the Distributor “Grande TRE” you distribute the ground coffee directly after grinding, even in the edge areas of the sieve, so that the coffee puck has the same density and the extraction succeeds perfectly. The working depth of the distributor can be easily adjusted and fixed by hand from 5 to 13 mm. Instructions are enclosed.

Place the distributor on the filled sieve and turn it 3 to 4 times briskly clockwise. Then simply rope! The distributor is also perfect for use in the catering trade, where different people prepare coffee, because it ensures that the quality of the hot beverage remains consistently good.
